A very interesting talk about the relationship between visual representation of scientific information and artistic insights in the abstract world. After seeing this, I thought to myself, but where do the impressionists fit? Or for that matter fractal geometry? One thing is sure, the human brain finds visual imagery important in its ability to describe fundamental behaviours found in nature, as though that aspect of our brain can process information more fluidly than with numbers, as fractal geometry also illustrates.
